Moulin-à-Vent is one of the best Cru Beajolais, the King of the Beaujolais wines. An intense full bodied ruby red wine, with a nose of notable power and intensity, with floral and mineral aromas. As this wine ages it can acquire characteristics similar to Pinot noir as it loses some of the fruity-freshness typical of Beaujolais.
An excellent broad and deep Beaujolais wine which is often capable of ageing for up to 10 years. Enjoy it with fine cheeses, red meats, meat dishes in rich sauces, strong tasting game dishes such as venison and wild boar.
